Many 2 Euro coins had two version: the normal one and the one with edge reversed . The first one is when, reading the sign on the edge, the national face is on the top. The another is when, reading the sign on the edge, the common face is on the top.
Euro coins incorporate high-security machine-readable characteristics. They
can be used in vending machines throughout the euro area - no matter where they
were issued.

into the €1 and €2 coins.
- The material of the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins is a unique alloy (Nordic

counterfeiting.
